The Ann Folkard Geranium is a very vigorous variety that can grow over to 1 metre high if it meets an obstable to climb. From June to September the flowers bloom uninterrupted, purple-pink with black veins in the centre. The young foliage appears soft green, almost yellow, and then turns green at maturity.

Characteristics of the Geranium Ann Folkard.

The Geranium Ann Folkard is a semi-evergreen variety of Geranum, its vigorous growth and rapid spread allow it to grow over 1m in beds. It can grow to over 1m in height provided it is planted against a wall or other obstacle. A deciduous plant, the leaves appear a beautiful bright lime green and then turn green as the season progresses. The small, purplish-pink flowers with black centres bloom continuously from June to September. 

 

How to use the Geranium Ann Folkard.


The Geranium Ann Folkard can be placed in perennial beds with Gaura, Nepetas, grasses... Against a wall, it will cover the wall during the whole summer. In a pot, it will fall on the wall in a beautiful cascade of flowers.

The Geranium Ann Folkard is easy to grow and adapts to all situations. It prefers sunny to semi-shaded locations and cool soil in summer to grow well.
