Sempervivum californicum, also called Sempervivum calcareum, is a succulent plant well-adapted to calcareous soils. Its thick foliage takes the shape of large green rosettes with purple tips, very graphic. The flowers are star-shaped and white, sometimes pinkish. Very rustic and resistant to periods of droughts, this variety suits for environments with a lot of constraints.
