Buddleia, also known as a "butterfly tree", is a new perennial variety with a very attractive dwarf wisteria look. It is characterized by its very long fragrant inflorescences that will effectively attract many butterflies. Its summer bloom is long (July to October) and quite spectacular. Throughout the summer, you can enjoy its magnificent falling flowers of a pretty mauve, lavender or wisteria that will brighten up your garden.

 

How to use Buddleia Wisteria Lane® ?

Interesting for its ground cover and its modest size. It can be used in small spaces and for growing in containers on terraces or balconies. It is also ideal for planting in solid masses, isolated or hedges.

 

What advices to achieve The Buddleia Wisteria Lane®'s growth ?

Very easy to maintain, it is planted in sunny to mid-shaded exposure in good garden soil provided it is relatively deep and well drained to resist drought. Rustic, it is very resistant to urban pollution and harsh winters. Indeed, it can withstand a temperature of -20°C. At the end of summer, in order to keep a resplendent Buddleia, the faded panicles are removed and then at the end of winter, in March-April, it is pruned short in order to encourage the growth of larger clusters of flowers in spring.
