Characteristics of Agapanthus EVERPANTHUS® Poppin’® Pink ‘2020-07’
This agapanthus forms a compact clump of long, strap-like, evergreen green leaves. Its main distinguishing feature is its pink flowering, a colour still uncommon within the genus Agapanthus, which is traditionally dominated by blue, violet and white shades. Upright flower stems carry rounded umbels composed of numerous flowers ranging from pale pink to deeper pink. Flowering is repeat-blooming: after the first flush, additional flower stems may appear during summer and extend the flowering display into September. At maturity, the plant reaches approximately 80 cm in height and 60 cm in width.

Agapanthus Poppin’® Pink is suitable for borders, edging, gravel gardens, contemporary planting schemes and containers. Plant this agapanthus in full sun, in fertile and especially well-drained soil. A substrate that remains moderately moist during active growth supports good development, while excess winter moisture should be avoided. Allow approximately 50 to 60 cm between plants. Water regularly after planting to support root establishment, then adjust irrigation according to temperature and soil moisture.
