Bamboos

 Bamboo Fargesia angustissima is the most non-invasive bamboo's variety that actually exists. This is the perfect backyard visual barrier. Recently introduced in garden, it can reach 6 m high (a little less if its a pot growing on terrace or on balcony). Its airy and sophisticated foliage matches perfectly with its red purple straws. Moderatly rustic, it grows well in temperate climate. 

FARGESIA jiuzhaigu Genf is a non-tracking variety with a very erect habit and a good density of leaves. The canes are born green and turn red to purple when mature. The canes therefore offer a very nice contrast to the light green foliage. The leaves are thin and give the plant a graphic appearance. Fargesia jiuzhaigu are very dense and compact foliage varieties, so they are suitable for small spaces or containers. 

FARGESIA hybride Black Pearl bamboo is a new non-invasive bamboo's variety (selection of 2005). Noticeable thanks to its dark stem's colour, it also reaches about 3m high with its dense and airy look. Rustic, it doesn't appreciate the sun and must be reserved for planting bed, hedge, zen garden, balcony or well-shaded terrace.

FARGESIA nitida Volcano is an elegant non-tracking bamboo with a slender protrusion.
