Close to the Hibiscus this shrub offers bright red flowers from May to September without interruption. The flowers are similar to those of the hibiscus, smaller size of a beautiful vermilion red. Semi-evergreen vegetation with medium development.

The characteristics of PAVONIA X Flamboyant ®
Originally from Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, the PAVONIA X Flamboyant ® is a new product from the Pavonia missionum which is a rarity in our garden. It is a small shrub that offers us from May to September a wonderful flowering of a bright orange red. The flowers resemble those of the Hibiscus and mallows, we are in the family Malvaceae. They bloom continuously from May to September. Compact bushy shrub reaching 1.2m for 60cm wide.
How to use the PAVONIA X Flamboyant ®
This small shrub will enter in the composition of exotic beds in company of Cannas, Musas, Strelitzias, Cordylines... In a pot on the terrace, it will create a sensation and its flowers will attract everyone's attention.
What advice do you have for growing PAVONIA X Flamboyant ® successfully?
A full sun plant, it is very resistant to dryness once installed. We offer it a rather rich and especially well drained soil. Moderately hardy, it should be protected in winter in regions where the weather is harsh.
