Polemonium 'Heaven Scent' is a wonderful cultivar. It is a cross between the American Polemonium reptans and the Japanese Polemonium yezoense and is a fantastic plant that is very floriferous. The decorative purple-bronze foliage appears in spring and is quickly followed by open clusters of bell-shaped flowers. The delicate flowers are a beautiful blue-purple contrasted by bright yellow anthers and borne on slender stems that sway in the wind. Very fragrant, they attract pollinating insects. Delicate flowers are carried.
