This Arends’ saxifrage forms a compact, evergreen cushion of finely divided green leaves. The evergreen foliage remains compact and provides good ground coverage. In May and June, slender stems rise above the foliage and carry numerous five-petalled flowers. The flowers open dark to bright pink and may become paler as they mature. Plants reach approximately 15 cm in vegetative height and up to 20 cm when flowering.
