The characteristics of PHOTINIA Pink Crispy ®.


The Photinia Pink Crispy ® is a wonderfully colourful shrub and offers throughout the year a strong aesthetic potential. Its variegated foliage mixes three colours; a dark green, a soft green and a creamy white. The large leaves are dentate, glossy and evergreen. Three to four times a year the Photinia lights up with bright pink young shoots making a very decorative shrub. The foliage is also enhanced by a young reddish-brown wood. The flowers are large, white honey-like umbels and bloom in April-May.

How to use PHOTINIA Pink Crispy ®.


The Photinia Pink Crispy ® is suitable for hedge planting, it is dense and will make a superb screen. It can also be planted in shrubbery and will light up a dark place. It can also be planted in a container to decorate a terrace.

What advice can you give to successfully grow PHOTINIA Pink Crispy ®.


Plant Photinia Pink Crispy ® in rich soil in a sunny or semi-shade situation. Carry out two prunings a year (late spring and autumn) to increase the young pink shoots and thus make it attractive for longer. It is resistant to disease and drought once established.
