ALLIUM ampeloprasum, native to Southern Europe, is known for its tall stems topped with large, purple globular flower heads. This bulbous perennial forms linear bluish-green foliage in spring that dies back before blooming. Highly cold-hardy, it thrives in temperate and continental climates and naturalizes easily without becoming invasive. ALLIUM ampeloprasum is perfect for perennial borders, garden beds, or contemporary landscapes. Planted in groups, it creates striking vertical accents.
