This Japanese anemone develops a vigorous clump of dark green leaves, divided into three lobes and held close to the ground. The pure white, slightly irregular tepals, sometimes tinged pink on the reverse, surround a ring of golden-yellow stamens and a green centre. Flowering generally continues from August to October.
