Characteristics of the Matteucia struthiopteris.


The Matteucia struthiopteris is one of the largest ferns of the northern hemisphere, a deciduous perennial that develops lanceolate fronds, very cut up to 1m50. Its very erect bearing and its foliage arranged in a circle in the center of the rhizome, gives it the air of a kind of tight and slender cut.
