Characteristics of SEDUM clavatum.
SEDUM clavatum is remarkable for its jade-green leaves, covered with a bluish-grey bloom that turns slightly pink with the cold. The leaves are very fleshy and rounded at the tips, forming tight, compact rosettes. The flowering appears in early summer on small stubby stems in bunches of delicate white stars.
How to use SEDUM clavatum.
Ideal for rock gardens and dry gardens, this sedum can be combined with other sedums, echeverias and sempervivums. It will also thrive in pots or tubs on a terrace to create mini desert landscapes.
Tips for growing SEDUM clavatum successfully.
This sedum is very resistant to drought. It adapts to ordinary, moderately moist and even chalky soil. However, it is best to give it a well-drained soil so that it can flourish. It can also be watered regularly during the growing season and reduced during the dormant season.
