SORBUS Burka is a hybrid shrub from Eastern Europe, appreciated for its vibrant purple spring foliage that turns red in fall. Its creamy white spring flowers in May are followed by clusters of dark decorative fruits. Extremely hardy, it withstands temperatures as low as -30°C. Thanks to its small size, SORBUS Burka is ideal for urban gardens, mixed borders, or as a specimen plant. It also thrives in containers for terraces and patios. Its colorful foliage and unique fruits provide year-round interest and contribute to biodiversity. It’s well-suited for low-maintenance landscapes and naturalistic plantings. SORBUS Burka thrives in well-drained soils, preferably slightly acidic to neutral. When planting in hedges, space the shrubs about 1.5 m apart. It prefers a sunny or partially shaded spot. Pruning is optional but can be done in late winter to maintain its shape. Provide regular watering during the first two years and add compost in spring to promote healthy growth and vivid foliage.Characteristics of SORBUS Burka
