Bletilla striata, also called 'Hyacinth orchid', is a perennial remarkable for its big size, up to 40cm height, and for its bright pink flowering. Its sophisticated large coloured flowers appear between May and July. Its tender green foliage is composed of big lanceolate leaves which do not persist during the winter. This variety even likes shade.
