Beautiful variety with dark ears, Pennisetum alopecuroïdes Black Beauty suits for planting in pot as well as in planting bed. Its long ribbon-shaped light green leaves make elegant splayed tufts. Its flowering begins in summer, with the appearance of high fairly dense ears which colour evolves from brown to black with time. This grass likes being planted at a sunny place.
