Lovely pennisetum with a little size, Pennisetum japonicum is easy to recognize thanks to its brown ears, white at their tip. Its very thin foliage makes dense and regular tufts, and it is accompanied of beautiful silky ears during the summer. Adapted to pots and to planting beds, this variety should be planted in areas with mild climate. It likes sunny places.
