Sambucus nigra Black Lace ® is a superb elderberry shrub with a purple foliage and a white spring flowering. Its finely cut almost black foliage is very decorative, particularly during the flowering when it highlights the slightly pinkish white flowers. This variety makes beautiful medium sized planting beds. It can also be planted in free hedges.
