ERIOSTEMON myoporoides (philothèque) is a really pretty Australian native plant, popular for more than two centeries in our gardens. Its wintry and melliferous flowering is shaped like stars, its evergreen and cunningly sweet perfumed foliage as well as its rounded habit provide with mettle any garden or balcony. It is dry and sea spray-resistant, but also not really demanding concerning the soil as long as it is well-drained.
