Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron' is a grass with a surprising scarlet red foliage. Its upright linear leaves are green tinted of purpre and red in autumn. This variety will bring colour to terraces or fresh and wet areas, for example near watercourses. Hardy, it does not fear cold winters and can be planted in temperate areas.
