Calamagrostis acutiflora Karl Foerster is a splendid cultivar of calamagrostis remarkable for its high golden ears with an upright habit. The green foliage makes tufts that take nuances of yellow over time. The inflorescences of this variety are in feathery ears, colored of a luminous golden yellow going towards bronze. This grass likes well-drained fresh soils.
