The characteristics of the GAILLARDIA Blazing Sun ®

A firework display of summer colour that thrives in any weather! The sumptuous flowers of GAILLARDIA Blazing Sun ® will create a sensation in gardens and on terraces. Their yellow flowers with red centres are extremely bright. The red centre grows progressively as the flower blooms to almost full red. The heart is purple-red with yellow stamens. The flowers appear from about mid-June and continue to bloom continuously until October, sometimes even November if the early autumn is sunny and warm. The stems do not drop, bend or break, even after heavy rain, and usually reach a height of about 30 cm. The deciduous, somewhat hairy leaves are pale green to grey. The plant grows rapidly and can triple its size in one growing season.

How to use GAILLARDIA Blazing Sun ®.

GAILLARDIA Blazing Sun ® is perfect for containers or to fill in the front of sunny borders. It can be combined with other Gaillardias, Rudbeckia and Coreopsis.

Tips for growing the GAILLARDIA Blazing Sun ® successfully

This low-maintenance perennial plant does not pose any problems and adapts even to poor, dry soil. Remove spent flowers to encourage flowering at the end of the season. The soil should be well drained to avoid excess moisture.
