The characteristics of Prunus laurocerasus Sofia®.
New among the Prunus, it is a really original variety for a Prunus laurocerasus. Its small leaves make it an object of curiosity in the family. Its foliage is fine, lanceolate, of a beautiful shiny dark green with slightly toothed contours. Its erect but compact habit makes it a dense shrub that supports pruning very well. It grows quickly with shoots of 30cm in 6 months. It is not sensitive to sifting.

Prunus laurocerasus Sofia® is an ideal shrub for planting low hedges, borders of flower beds. It supports pruning very well and can also be used to make topiaries and to replace Boxwood.
