Characteristics of the ZOYSIA tenuifolia AlterGazon®
Native to Southeast Asia, this perennial is a vigorous, rhizomatous grass that stays short. It has fine green leaves that are densely packed. It is dry and trample resistant and is perfect for alternative lawns as its resemblance is striking. It is also very tolerant to trampling.

AlterGazon® ZOYSIA tenuifolia requires good preparation of the land to facilitate its establishment. Once established, it requires little water and little maintenance. A few mowings per year are necessary (5 to 7) to avoid too much weed growth but the maintenance also avoids it.
