Really close to the Luxus Globe ®'s variety, Ilex crenata Luxus Lingold ® is a variant, gifted with a variegated foliage. Its little though leaves are green and hemmed with golden yellow. Evergreen, it keeps its colours throughout the year which provides with joy the garden. Member of the Ilex Luxus ®'s range, as well as the Globe Planter's one, Ilex crenata Luxus Lingold ® is the only variegated variety of this serie.
How to use Ilex crenata Luxus Lingold ® ?
Just like the Luxus Globe ®'s variety, Ilex crenata Luxus Lingold ® is a great boxwood's substitute, it has all the same qualities but not the defaults. Luxus Lingold ® withstands perfectly the cut, its is also frost and disease-resistant. In average, its size is 1m x 1m, it can be massively planted in order to create pretty low or medium hedges, isolated or combined with non-variegated variety, for instance the Luxus Globe ®'s variety. It is extremely decorative in pot as well, thanks to its spherical habit.

Ilex crenata must be planted in rather slightly acidic soil, but not a calcareous one.
