South African evergreen foliage's perennial, Kniphofia Redhot Popsicle ® insures a fruitful and extremely coloured flowering. Its orangy yellow flowers turn to red with maturity, they create large inflorescences, gifted with an upright habit, they look like torchlights. During their long period of flowering, between June and September, Kniphofias attract pollinator insects. Its ribbon-shaped foliage forms dense tufts that are topped with flowers in the summer.
How to use Kniphofia Redhot Popsicle ® ?
Just like the other plants of the Kniphofia Popsicle ®'s range, Kniphofia Redhot Popsicle ® requires a great sun exposure so as to flourish well, and also a well-drained soil : it doesn't withstand wet winters that can lead to its roots' rot. Its dwarf habit (50cm x 50cm) suits to planting bed as well as flowerbed in non-harsh winter's areas. This variety moderately stands negative temperatures (until -10°C). Nevertheless, it is very dry-resistant.
